South by Southwest Festival 2014 in Austin Texas has arrived
SXSW is one of the world’s largest music, film and interactive festivals, and I’m honored to be part of its pilot years in adding urban art to its line up.
The challenge
It’s taking about 200 rolls of packing tape to create a 10ft x 6ft installation for the SXSW Eco Light Garden nightly exhibit at Republic Square Park, so come check it out starting Saturday, March 8, around midnight thru the entire SXSW festival. Thanks to the crew at SXSW Eco for creating the most badass freestanding lightbox that will light up this massive tape artwork.
I’ll be also creating tape art LIVE on Sunday at the 3M Interactive Lounge 3pm to 6pm next to the Austin Convention Center (409 E. 5th St).
