About “The Great Escape”:

This artwork was created solely with brown packing tape, with an additional hint of red tape used for the woman’s dress, and white tape for the sky. Each layer of tape was cut with a scalpel, a procedure that was repeated for each of the 17 layers used for this artwork. The whole process took more than 100 hours and about 20 rolls of packing tape until completion. When finished, the layers of tape were sealed and concealed between UV-resistant acrylic glass to ensure their duration for decades to come. The artwork then was framed in a customized light boxes which support the motif with warm, low temperature light.
